cusco engine mounts

July 7, 2011

Sooooo one this not to take notice on in this blog is the dates they are WAYYYYY off ……….. from the time the motor was in and we found out that the motor was hitting the bonnet – ordering and getting the mounts took a huge 6 weeks wait. Mind you i did just order them right after the earthquake!!

From the pictures you can already see that they are a smaller mount but i have to watch the clearance of the sump i don’t want it hanging too low.

1 problem the engine sits higher and hits my koguchi bonnet. I ordered cusco engine mounts to solve the problem …….

S15 Rear sub frame

June 24, 2011

I guess with positives there are negatives also, we installed a s15 rear sub frame into this car because the geometry is the some what straighter on a s15 there for more rear end grip….. BUT the down side was that it’s  a wider sub frame (10 mm more each side making 20mm total. Now this does not help 1 thing having 10 mm less space.

this is now some SSR viennas sit at

19 x 9.5 +28 1 deg
